iThoughts can import and export iMindmap 4 format files (.imm)

The following attributes are preserved when importing and exporting:

1. •Topic text
   

2. •Topic layout
   

3. •Topic colour
   

4. •Box branches
   

5. •Topic notes
   

6. •Topic hyperlinks (the first one only)
   

7. •Relationships
   

8. •Folded (collapsed) branch state
   

Unfortunately the following attributes (amongst others) are not preserved:

1. •Task management features (priority, start/due date, progress)
   

2. •Floating topics/images
   

3. •Icons when transferring from iThoughts to iMindmap. A subset of icons is supported in the reverse direction (from iMindmap to iThoughts.)
