iThoughts can import and export XMind format files (.xmind)

The following attributes are preserved when importing and exporting:

1. •Topic text (but not the format - bold etc.)
   

2. •Topic notes (but not the format - bold etc.)
   

3. •Topic colour (‘fill colour’ - not text or line colour)
   

4. •Relationships (including colour and arrow head)
   

5. •Hyperlinks
   

6. •Icons (limited to 2 per topic - and then only a subset of those supported by XMind)
   

7. •Topic priorities
   

8. •Folded (collapsed) state.
   

9. •Topic shape (limited to rounded rectangle, rectangle and oval.)
   

10. •Start Date, Due Date and Progress (% complete)
    

NB: The left/rightness of topics relative to the root topic is not maintained - XMind will always attempt to ‘balance’ the topics.
