iThoughts can import and export Mindjet MindManager format files (.mmap and .xmmap) - from v6 onwards (Mac and Windows.) It is believed to work on earlier versions - but to be sure - please contact support@ithoughts.co.uk

The following attributes are preserved when importing and exporting:

1. •Topic text (but not the format - bold etc.)
   

2. •Topic notes (but not the format - bold etc.)
   

3. •Topic colour (‘fill colour’ - not text or line colour)
   

4. •Relationships (including colour and arrow head)
   

5. •Hyperlinks
   

6. •Icons (limited to 2 per topic - and then only a subset of those supported by MindManager)
   

7. •Topic priorities
   

8. •Folded (collapsed) state.
   

9. •General layout (left/right’ness, descendants and sibling ordering.)
   

10. •Topic shape (limited to rounded rectangle, rectangle and oval.)
    

11. •Start Date, Due Date and Progress (% complete)
